Cornerstone Comfort, whose service area covers Boise, Nampa, Caldwell, Fruitland, Homedale and Wilder, ladders the same work into three tiers. That is a metro figure covering the whole valley, and the tiers describe the size of the failure more than the age or brand of the equipment.

Cooling has no equivalent local band, so every air conditioning figure on this page is a national one and is labeled that way. Two questions are worth asking when you book: what the trip costs, and whether it comes off the repair. On a small job those two answers move the total more than the part does.

Above those sit the parts that turn a service call into a decision.
